About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-quality software components based on Java, Spring Boot and Kafka
- Design modern, scalable microservices
- Implement automated module and integration tests
- Support business units in developing technical solutions
- Contribute to technical architectures in collaboration with application architects
- Share knowledge within technical communities
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- Experience in IT with a focus on application development
- Experience as a backend developer in a microservices environment
- Familiarity with Java and the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka is a welcome plus
- Strong database skills, especially PostgreSQL
- Fluent German (C1) and solid English (B2)
