About the role
- Drive the definition and implementation of reference architectures for secure, scalable AI platforms tailored for the financial services sector.
- Author and maintain platform reference architectures that incorporate financial industry best practices.
- Lead build-versus-buy evaluations using total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
- Embed site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, robust logging, data zoning, and sovereignty controls.
- Design architectures that facilitate auditability and traceability.
- Partner with information security, compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure platform solutions address emerging financial threats.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience architecting secure, compliant platforms in regulated industries, preferably financial services.
- Strong cross-functional influence, with advanced documentation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable solutions that meet strict regulatory and security standards.
- Expertise in mapping controls to FFIEC, NIST, and ISO standards.
- Experience integrating eDiscovery, DLP, and KMS into enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with BCBS 239, SOX, GLBA, and financial data governance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in implementing solutions that support regulatory audits and ongoing compliance.
