About the role

  • Agency Development Manager at Spotify driving agency development and strategic partnerships for the podcast business. Requires extensive agency experience and network in the media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison across an agency portfolio, acting as an internal advocate and representing Spotify with a specific focus on key holding companies and/or operating company relationships alongside local Sales teams
  • Identify agency priorities that align with Spotify solutions to drive immediate revenue, media innovation, and audio and video engagement
  • Own agency contact mapping, delivery of business reviews, and scaled education programs
  • Work cohesively with other locally based Agency Development Managers to execute the agency go-to-market strategy
  • Partner closely with key vertical and automation teams to ensure strategic and commercial elements drive toward prioritized business goals
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information to the appropriate Spotify teams and provide fast, high-quality service response
  • Drive revenue across your agency portfolio and proactively identify opportunities for client partners to collaborate
  • Lead integration into the country vertical structure, particularly with Client Partners, and help uncover the next generation of Enterprise customers

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Agency, Business Development/Partnerships, and/or Sales, leading businesses or accounts
  • Proven experience working in or with media and creative agencies
  • Established personal network of agency contacts
  • Demonstrated track record of driving quarter-over-quarter revenue growth through the development of strategic relationships
  • Strong understanding of Spotify user behavior, product, and targeting suite, with the ability to translate technical or complex ideas into clear, simple terms
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and the ability to secure support and drive deliverable timelines from key cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for developing high-impact presentations and leading scaled initiatives
  • Experience delivering assigned agency partners’ quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Strong knowledge of local agency market dynamics
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, both spoken and written, is required
