About the role
- Adviseur Stikstof en Ecologie applying ecological knowledge to impact projects in the Netherlands. Working towards sustainability through advising on nitrogen and biodiversity issues.
Responsibilities
- Toepassen van ecologische en stikstofkennis in uiteenlopende projecten, met aandacht voor natuurwetgeving, biodiversiteit en economische belangen.
- Adviseren bij landschapsecologische vraagstukken, Natura 2000/NNN-inrichting, beheerplannen en milieueffectrapportages.
- Coördineren en begeleiden van projecten, inclusief het coachen van jongere collega’s.
- Onderhouden en uitbreiden van een relevant netwerk, zoals overheden, terreinbeherende organisaties en kennisinstituten.
- Signaleren van actuele ontwikkelingen en vertalen naar innovatieve adviezen en oplossingen.
Requirements
- Een afgeronde hbo of academische opleiding met aantoonbare ervaring in ecologie en effecten van stikstof;
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring;
- Kennis van de effecten van stikstof op Nederlandse soorten en habitats;
- Kennis van de stikstofproblematiek in Nederland
- Affiniteit met en kennis van actuele natuurwetgeving en -beleid (zoals de Wet Natuurbescherming en provinciaal beleid) is een pré;
- Een netwerk bij overheden, TBO’s, en/of kennisinstituten;
- Uitstekende communicatie- en schrijfvaardigheden in de Nederlandse taal.
