Responsibilities
Join a team responsible for end-to-end product development for first responders.
Handle all hardware-related development and minor software development for various products.
Act as an individual contributor, collaborating with teams and customers to gather feedback.
Participate in the entire product development life cycle: from idea inception and architecture drafting to design, testing, deployment, and customer feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of product development experience.
Proficiency in industry-standard schematic capture and PCB layout.
3+ years of experience in embedded system design, build, and troubleshooting.
Experience in high availability systems.
Familiarity with Xpedition, Altium, or Allegro.
Knowledge of DDR, LVDS, and/or PCIe.
End-to-end product design experience.
Experience qualifying products for CE, UL, and FCC certifications.
Skills in surface mount soldering and rework.
Experience with single-wire, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and/or Ethernet communication.
Understanding of design guidelines for EMC and safety requirements.
Basic embedded system programming skills (e.g., I2C/SPI commands, simple IO).
Strong independent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to create technical documentation and presentations.
Knowledge of the telecom, radio, and/or fire industries.
