About the role

  • Responsible for ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash)
  • Handling payment transactions, dunning procedures & direct debits
  • Preparation of annual financial statements for the tax advisor
  • Preparation of VAT advance returns
  • Preparation of managerial/business reports and financial analyses
  • Point of contact for the tax advisor and authorities
  • Management of contracts (e.g., rent, leasing, utilities)
  • Support with general office tasks (supplies, archiving, beverages, correspondence)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., business administration or accounting)
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting
  • Good knowledge of tax law
  • Confident user of accounting software (e.g., DATEV or Addison)
  • Independent, structured and meticulous working style
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Good written English skills
