Responsibilities
- Responsible for ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash)
- Handling payment transactions, dunning procedures & direct debits
- Preparation of annual financial statements for the tax advisor
- Preparation of VAT advance returns
- Preparation of managerial/business reports and financial analyses
- Point of contact for the tax advisor and authorities
- Management of contracts (e.g., rent, leasing, utilities)
- Support with general office tasks (supplies, archiving, beverages, correspondence)
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., business administration or accounting)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of tax law
- Confident user of accounting software (e.g., DATEV or Addison)
- Independent, structured and meticulous working style
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Good written English skills
