About the role

  • Manage daily accounting operations and perform accounting tasks for group’s entities.
  • Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, reports and ensure timely data entry.
  • Calculate and post taxes, GL journals and accruals, assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational and/or financial services company.
  • Familiarity with IFRS knowledge, knowledge on US GAAP will be considered as a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must have a legal right to work in Egypt without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Self-driven, self-motivated, highly interested in learning and adapting to changing environments.
  • Strong planning and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a challenging and international environment is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude.
  • Ability and readiness to work in nationally and geographically diversified teams.
