About the role

  • You manage our local sales performance, including primary responsibility for acquiring new customers in the public sector
  • Maintain and deepen existing customer relationships with the aim of establishing long-term, lasting partnerships
  • Identify business needs and subsequently develop and address proposal ideas
  • Identify business opportunities
  • Responsibility for order intake
  • Prepare proposals with customer-specific adaptations and cross–service-line elements
  • Conduct customer negotiations
  • Prepare a variety of documents and presentations to present subject-matter topics to customers

Requirements

  • Completed higher technical and/or commercial education (university, university of applied sciences, technical college, etc.)
  • Several years of professional experience in IT sales (ideally in new customer acquisition)
  • Good project management know-how
  • Good knowledge of the public sector
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Knowledge of current IT topics and trends and a strong interest in future technologies
  • Independent, results-oriented and solution-focused working style with strong closing skills
  • Negotiation skills at an international level
  • Fluent in German and English
