Network Architect designing and delivering solutions for Evolved Packet Core and 5G systems at 1GLOBAL. Collaborating within the Network Team to meet technical requirements and oversee project delivery.
Responsibilities
As a Network Architect, in the Network Team, you will be responsible to propose, analyze and define the requirements for new and existing services and systems, in the functional domain of Evolved Packet Core and 5G SA Core.
You will be responsible for preparing, designing, testing, and delivering new solutions or enhancements to the existing product portfolio.
Additionally, you will define and support the technology evolution roadmap for systems within the assigned functional area and domain, while also actively participating in and supporting cross-functional projects in collaboration with other functional areas.
Requirements
Proven experience on implementation of live solutions on mobile telecom (GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS), networks design, capacity management, engineering and architecture
Knowledge of 3GPP, GSMA, ITU standards and specifications
Experience in the design, test and operation of Packet Core systems, including P-GW, RADIUS, DNS, PCRF, ePDG, DRA
Experience in defining, establishing and maintaining roaming interconnects for GRX/IPX
Understanding about IMS architecture. Experience in deploying VoLTE, VoWiFi, and QoS
Experience in designing, implementing, testing and troubleshooting the following interfaces: Gx, RADIUS, SGi/Gi, Gy, Bp, S6b, S2b, SWm, Sxb
Experience in mobile services charging (offline, online).
Experience in Policy control, including DPI and PCRF policy creation
Experience with IoT, including LTE-M and NB-IoT
Knowledge and experience with Diameter/SCTP networks and protocols
Knowledge and experience with protocols such as RADIUS, GTP-C, GTP-U, Diameter, MAP, S6a
Experience with protocol analyzer tools like Wireshark, Astelia, and ability to use them to troubleshoot networks errors/problems for the mentioned protocols
Experience with ETSI NFV architecture and solutions
Familiar with MVNO/MVNE/MVNA architecture(s) and landscape
English proficiency mandatory, other languages are a plus
Degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
