• Lead the modernisation and migration of legacy Java applications, including Struts (v1 & v2), JSP, JSF, AngularJS and Angular-based solutions.
• Define and implement strategies to transition non‑API legacy systems to RESTful API‑based architectures.

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing business for an IT Enterprise Application Architect to join the IT Team reporting into the CIO.

**Responsibilities:**

· Define and enforce architecture principles, policies, and governance processes for the application landscape.

· Provide guidance for major projects to ensure they align with enterprise-wide goals and principles, and that architectural consistency is maintained.

· Evaluate, select, and integrate new and existing enterprise applications and systems.

· Collaborate with business and application owners to ensure solutions align with current & future business needs

· Create and update the overall application architecture strategy, including enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks
