Responsibilities
- Leadership and oversight of the Construction Professional Liability underwriting team
- Manage the portfolio’s P&L, meeting key financial objectives
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, distribution partners, and clients
- Develop underwriting strategies across the portfolio
- Achieve profitable growth and retention objectives
- Support cross-sell initiatives
- Talent management and achieve quality/compliance objectives
- Promote Zurich’s sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of relevant Underwriting or Market Facing or Broker or Carrier or Risk Management experience within the Commercial Insurance industry
- 5+ years of management experience
- Prior Construction Professional Liability experience
- Advanced knowledge of Construction Professional Liability practices
- P&L and Strategic planning experience
- Strong managerial skills
- Ability to manage complex portfolios
- Technical knowledge of insurance industry operations and processes
