About the role

• Senior Salesforce Engineer designing and delivering customised solutions for Zurich's customer interactions. Involved in technology transformation to support strategic goals and innovation within insurance sector.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying customised Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs.
• Translating business requirements into scalable technical specifications.
• Reviewing code and ensuring adherence to best practices, security, and performance standards.
• Establishing and maintaining Salesforce development standards and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentoring junior developers and administrators, and fostering a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning Flow.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud and integration with APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and development pipelines.
• Salesforce Developer certifications and tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is highly regarded.
