About the role
- Quality Manager ensuring compliance with internal and external quality and food safety standards. Leading quality processes and audits in a prominent packaging company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external quality and food safety requirements
- Conduct hygiene and cleanliness inspections at the plant
- Be responsible for employee training on quality management topics
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits (e.g. FSSC 22000, FSC, ISCC)
- Coordinate cross-site quality processes
- Manage QA monitoring throughout the production process
- Perform root cause analyses for complaints and derive corrective actions
- Support structured quality management activities
- Assist in the qualification of new equipment, products and materials
- Ensure that all product specifications and compliance documentation are up to date and accurate
Requirements
- Completed vocational qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Solid knowledge of quality management and ideally of food, plastics or packaging technology
- Confident presence with professional experience in a QM environment
- Ability to assess and implement complex requirements independently and confidently
- Strong IT affinity
- Experience with SAP
- Experience working on projects in interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent in German and English
- Solid knowledge of HACCP
- Strong sense of responsibility for food safety and risk prevention
