About the role

  • Quality Manager ensuring compliance with internal and external quality and food safety standards. Leading quality processes and audits in a prominent packaging company.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality and food safety requirements
  • Conduct hygiene and cleanliness inspections at the plant
  • Be responsible for employee training on quality management topics
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits (e.g. FSSC 22000, FSC, ISCC)
  • Coordinate cross-site quality processes
  • Manage QA monitoring throughout the production process
  • Perform root cause analyses for complaints and derive corrective actions
  • Support structured quality management activities
  • Assist in the qualification of new equipment, products and materials
  • Ensure that all product specifications and compliance documentation are up to date and accurate

Requirements

  • Completed vocational qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Solid knowledge of quality management and ideally of food, plastics or packaging technology
  • Confident presence with professional experience in a QM environment
  • Ability to assess and implement complex requirements independently and confidently
  • Strong IT affinity
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience working on projects in interdisciplinary teams
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP
  • Strong sense of responsibility for food safety and risk prevention
