About the role

Responsibilities
- Own delivery of key elements of the month-end close
- Ensure accurate and timely postings, robust controls, and high-quality balance sheet substantiation
- Own accounting for key P&L and balance sheet areas
- Use and maintain key processes and financial models
- Own the preparation of certain tax compliance schedules
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual controls over financial and tax reporting
- Drive process improvement and AI/automation throughout BAU activities
Requirements
- Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in month-end close and financial reporting
- Excellent numerical skills and strong Excel / spreadsheet capability
- Proactive problem-solver
- Curious about technology, data, and emerging tools (including AI)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
