About the role
- Firmware Validation Engineer validating firmware functionality for an autonomous vehicle platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance feature reliability and readiness.
Responsibilities
- Validate firmware functionality at the component, subsystem and system level
- Test embedded applications, control logic, and feature integrations across hardware interfaces, sensors, and actuators
- Catch issues early, improve integration stability, and enable smooth handoff to system-level validation
- Collaborate with firmware developers, systems engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable embedded features to production
Requirements
- BS in relevant engineering discipline
- 3+ Years of relevant experience
- Experience developing/testing embedded firmware
- Object-oriented programming experience (Python preferred)
- Hands-on experience with wireless test platforms (e.g. Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz) or testing modem prototypes.
