Responsibilities
Leading a multi-domain project team through all project phases, from first idea to series production
Close co-operation with our business units and customers to align technical requirements on new products or changes
Ensure planning and execution of all engineering related tasks along the ZF-CVS product development process (design, validation, FMEA, Design to Cost, gate reviews, roadmaps, etc)
Creating and tracking of project time- and budget plans, and responsible for meeting project goals in terms of time, cost and quality
Reporting regularly the project KPI`s and status to engineering management, problem solving for design review, test failure, field claim
For solenoid candidate: Joint development with integrated supplier for detail structure, magnetic circuit, air flow path
Define the validation plan, review and approve the test result, collaborate with local engineering teams and global actuator teams
Requirements
Degree in electromechanics, electrical, control engineering, especially with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics
Solid experience in solenoid product development
Experience in EMC design, test and trouble shooting
Familiar with solenoid validation, production process, EOL test, and magnetic simulation for solenoid
Beneficial is to have knowledge in 3D CAD system (Creo), PLM and PTC requirements management
Beneficial is to know functional safety requirement: ISO 26262
Beneficial is experience in pneumatic system development, braking, ECAS, AMT development
Good command in English (written and verbal)
