Responsibilities
- Leading a multi-domain project team through all project phases, from first idea to series production
- Close co-operation with our business units and customers to align technical requirements on new products or changes
- Ensure planning and execution of all engineering related tasks along the ZF-CVS product development process (design, validation, FMEA, Design to Cost, gate reviews, roadmaps, etc)
- Creating and tracking of project time- and budget plans, and responsible for meeting project goals in terms of time, cost and quality
- Reporting regularly the project KPI`s and status to engineering management, problem solving for design review, test failure, field claim
- For solenoid candidate: Joint development with integrated supplier for detail structure, magnetic circuit, air flow path
- Define the validation plan, review and approve the test result, collaborate with local engineering teams and global actuator teams
Requirements
- Degree in electromechanics, electrical, control engineering, especially with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics
- Solid experience in solenoid product development
- Experience in EMC design, test and trouble shooting
- Familiar with solenoid validation, production process, EOL test, and magnetic simulation for solenoid
- Beneficial is to have knowledge in 3D CAD system (Creo), PLM and PTC requirements management
- Beneficial is to know functional safety requirement: ISO 26262
- Beneficial is experience in pneumatic system development, braking, ECAS, AMT development
- Good command in English (written and verbal)
