About the role
- Process Quality Engineer handling quality planning for automotive manufacturing at ZF. Ensuring customer satisfaction and leading quality improvement initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage Quality Planning for new & key changes to achieve Safe Launch, Quality KPIs Targets and Customer Satisfaction.
- Drive the understanding of Customer requirements related to quality planning such as safe launch planning, Process Readiness Audit, etc.) to ensure SOP readiness and safe launch.
- Drive completion of APQP and PPAP processes to obtain customer approval.
- Drive the identification of lessons learned and the implementation of read-across activities, generating new lessons learned in the preSOP phase.
- Coordination of the processing of 0km complaints, support problem solving, Error analysis, definition, implementation and effectiveness check of remedial and improvement measures, avoidance of repeat errors GEMBA problem solving methods - cooperation with the employees on site
- Creation and implementation of quality concepts, work and process instructions
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in quality planning, quality management systems, quality tools, and methods; deep understanding of the ZF GDPEP process and quality standards; and Solid technical background regarding similar product technologies.
- Problem-solving skills
- Min 3 years’ experience on automotive manufacturing quality area
- Fluent English, German is an asset
- Knowledge and experience on APQP / PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, 5S - 6 Sigma, Kaizen is preferred
- Knowledge about SAP usage is preferred
- Ability to use Office Programs very well and effectively
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Good team player, result-oriented, analytical thinker
