About the role

  • Process & Analytics Specialist responsible for data analysis and operational improvements in healthcare financial services. Collaborating with teams to enhance decision-making and performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis of complex operational data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks
  • Proactively deliver forward-looking insights that inform operational and strategic decisions
  • Define and evolve KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Serve as a trusted decision-making partner to operations leadership on performance and optimization opportunities
  • Design, build, and deploy automations to improve operational efficiency
  • Identify repeatable solutions and scale them across teams
  • Leverage tools and scripting to eliminate manual processes
  • Develop a deep, end-to-end understanding of operational workflows and interdependencies
  • Lead root cause analysis and identify systemic process issues impacting performance
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using data-driven insights
  • Act as a key liaison between operations, product data/technology teams, and leadership
  • Define and govern enterprise standards for reporting and dashboard development

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or operations analytics roles
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with operational teams and understanding complex workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
  • Strong experience building scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making through data and insights
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong sense of ownership; drives initiatives through to completion and impact
  • Ability to lead without direct authority across multiple teams
  • Experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Background in healthcare, payments, or other high-volume, process-driven environments preferred
  • Experience with predictive analytics, trend modeling, or statistical analysis preferred
  • Familiarity with process mapping and workflow optimization tools preferred
