About the role

  • Graphic design intern creating visual content for ZEIT Campus magazine. Collaborating on graphic design projects and social media content while gaining experience in a professional editorial team.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a dynamic editorial team in the areas of graphic design and image editing.
  • Support the creation of graphics and layout elements for the print edition of ZEIT CAMPUS.
  • Assist in the selection, research and editing of image material.
  • Prepare visual content for social media formats and online channels.
  • Collaborate closely with editors to develop and implement visual concepts.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student in Communication Design or a related discipline.
  • Initial experience working with magazines through coursework, internships or similar projects.
  • Good knowledge of InDesign and basic typographic skills.
  • Basic knowledge of animation and video editing.
  • Interest in contemporary aesthetics in photography and illustration, as well as motion graphics and animation.
  • High standards for creative solutions and the ability to work independently.
