About the role
- Jersey Designer for RABE Fashion Group responsible for design, development, and trend analysis in women's fashion. Collaborating with teams on color, materials, and model development for the LeComte brand.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to concept development regarding color, material and model selection in coordination with the Head of Design throughout the entire development process for the LeComte brand
- Independent design and development work in the jersey segment
- Create and develop creative artworks in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Create and maintain model sketches in the PDM
- Participate in collection meetings and prepare and hand over documentation for full-range retail and POS
- Prepare and request initial samples and evaluate them
- Attend international fabric fairs and research trips at home and abroad to analyze new trends
- Close collaboration with suppliers regarding material samples, accessories, lead times and quality control
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design and several years of professional experience in jersey design
- Strong sense for trends with a high level of stylistic confidence regarding the collection’s signature
- Jersey-specific knowledge of quality, processing and technical aspects
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Business-fluent German and English
