About the role

Responsibilities
- You conceptualize and produce content in our Vertical Desk for TikTok and other platforms.
- You maintain close contact with our various editorial departments, oversee the editorial schedule on zeit.de, and select pieces to adapt for TikTok and other platforms.
- You analyze the performance of content on our platforms and help further develop formats.
- If applicable, you may feel comfortable on camera and supplement our host line-up — but this is not a requirement.
Requirements
- You have experience conceiving and producing short-form videos for TikTok.
- You are familiar with the narrative structure of vertical videos.
- You can write scripts for short-form videos, assist on set, and optionally edit footage.
- You have a strong interest in news and stay well informed about trends and developments in social media.
- You work in a structured and conscientious manner.
- You communicate in a friendly way and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
- You remain calm under stress and act quickly and reliably.
