Responsibilities
Develop customized technical solutions to meet client and project requirements
Serve as an internal physical security technology subject matter expert supporting project managers and systems designers
Contribute to the development of ZBeta engineering and technical consulting tools and processes
Create, edit, review, and proof ZBeta design and engineering drawings package components: plans, details, diagrams, schedules, estimates, and programming matrices
Conduct technical studies, such as cable distance and voltage drop calculations
Conduct product research and engage in continuing technical education in physical security systems software, equipment, and related infrastructure technologies
Troubleshoot client and project issues related to codes, standards, and regulations applicable to physical security systems
Confirm proper function, operation, performance, and compliance vs applicable standards, requirements, and design documentation
Requirements
5+ years of security system design and/or security technology experience is required
2+ years Revit &/or AutoCAD experience is preferred
Proficiency in Lenel security system hardware and programming required
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
Proficiency in Bluebeam and Navisworks
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software such as Revit & AutoCAD is preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to organize and present design information to clients
