Responsibilities
Responsible for Project specific Mechanical Engineering and Design functions
Will work on planning, design, procurement, and quality of installation of mechanical systems and equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
Assist mechanical designers and drafters in developing the structural design of equipment and piping systems
Research, design, evaluate, and oversee the installation of equipment, systems, and processes
Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems
Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods
Specify system components or direct modification of products
Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review
Provide specific to discipline technical expertise to the degree of preparing and providing training for other personnel
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
Power Plant, Process, and/or Heavy Industrial Design experience
Pipe Stress Analysis
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
