About the role

  • Mechanical Engineer I responsible for engineering compliance and vendor management in various industries. Involves project objectives, calculations, and team collaboration for process equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing project specific objectives under direction of a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
  • Specify, evaluate bids, and perform vendor document review for process equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers.
  • Perform calculations for equipment and piping.
  • Specify Materials for process and utility piping services.
  • Attend Client, Vendor, and internal team project meetings.
  • Perform field surveys to collect required field data and assist with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Experience applying standard engineering techniques, ‎procedures, and criteria to ensure compliance with design basis, and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must possess permanent authorization to work in the USA without the need of sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the midstream, petrochemical, refining, power and energy transition industries. (preferred)
  • FE with interest in obtaining PE. (preferred)
