About the role

  • Business Analyst leading agile team to enhance Byte Coach Product with strategic brand priorities and user experience. Collaborating on requirement gathering, user stories, and KPI monitoring in product development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile Scrum Team: Act as the Product Owner, collaborating with cross-functional team members to define and prioritize product backlog items aligned with business objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • User Story Development: Translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with user needs and product goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, marketing, and technical teams, to gather feedback, report on progress, and ensure expectations are managed effectively.
  • Performance Metrics and KPI Monitoring: Develop and monitor KPIs, identifying actionable insights and recommending strategies to improve performance and user engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage agile principles to drive iterative development, ensuring regular product updates and optimizations based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Guidance and Mentorship: Guide less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a business analysis or product management role, with a strong background in agile methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex issues, make sound judgments, and improve existing solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with mobile application development and experience with analytics tools for tracking KPIs in the restaurant or retail industry is preferred.
  • Communication & Influence: Proven track record of effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to represent the product team internally and externally.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing product functionality, user experience, and business impact.
