Responsibilities
Elicit requirements from business users by engaging with stakeholders, running workshops and capturing these in clear, deliverable user stories.
Engage with technical and QA teams to see these user stories through the SDLC including analysis, build, functional testing, UAT and deployment.
Conduct impact analysis to tease out both business and technical impacts of requested changes ensuring a smooth delivery without any nasty surprises.
Become a trusted contact for business users – they need to know that you understand their business, including their pain points, and will deliver meaningful change for them.
Assess change requests for business value /criticality and ensure that proposed solutions are sustainable and maintainable for Mission going forward.
Manage internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure expectations are managed and stakeholders are satisfied with deliveries.
Champion the Digital function within the Mission business, be an ambassador for the team and encourage cross-functional engagement.
Requirements
5+ years of Business Analyst experience required in insurance.
Must have previous experience with policy admin software implementation.
Worked using agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, XP, Scrum).
Client facing experience is required
Proven success in business requirements gathering, design and development proper documentation for prioritization within the overall roadmap and technology direction
Demonstrated ability in business facilitation and effective use of project management techniques/tools.
