General Manager managing Australia operations for YouTrip, driving Go-To-Market strategies and local team recruitment. Contributing to business growth and navigating compliance landscape in fintech.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for YouTrip in Australia to ensure successful launch in the region
Build out and recruit the local launch team in Australia including but not limited to Marketing, Customer Service, and other functions in the local operating office
Drive business growth by leading & executing bespoke marketing & partnership campaigns to drive awareness and adoption for the optimal customer audience group
Identify local customer needs and partner with Product Management team to localize our customer offerings in Australia
Navigate local regulatory & compliance landscape with Legal & Compliance team and represent YouTrip in Australia in discussion with regulators and relevant authorities & stakeholders
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of YouTrip, identify and drive cross-functional initiatives for business growth and be ready to take on special projects & initiatives as needed to ensure maximal success of the business in Australia
Requirements

**Experienced Growth-oriented Leader **– You have at least 7 years of working experience with at least 3 years in cross-functional leadership roles in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Consumer and/or Startup marketing in Australia are highly preferred. Experience in Fintech or Financial Institutions space will be a strong plus. Candidates without prior experience in Startup or Marketing, but experienced in business planning & strategy in a high pace environment like Investment Banking, Management Consulting, etc., with strong hustle are welcome to apply
**Consumer Behavior Expert** – You may not come from a research background but you believe in your instinct on consumer preferences in Australia and are willing to justify your thoughts, to localize our product and GTM strategy in Australia
**Hyper-analytical Thinker** – You have deep understanding of numbers and metrics, and are experienced in producing analytical insights on business performance and setting meaningful targets for different business teams
