About the role
- Process Engineer managing water and wastewater treatment processes at Xylem, focusing on equipment operations and customer training without direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage the various processes of water and wastewater treatment plants
- Provide support in the startup and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems
- Review control narratives and work with integration teams to ensure equipment is operated as intended
- Provide training to customers in equipment operations and processes
- Organize, review and interpret data from customer's plants for process control and improvement
- Communicate technical and commercial issues
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering
- Water and wastewater experience is a plus
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain and maintain clearance to drive a company provided vehicle
- Experience in installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment equipment is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- A self-starter, capable of working independently
