About the role

  • UI/UX Designer ensuring user-friendly designs within agile frameworks for automotive transformation. Collaborating across teams to enhance design standards and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently and correctly apply an existing design system to create consistent and user-friendly UI designs
  • Independently create design components outside the existing design system when new requirements arise
  • Conduct UX research methods such as interviews, usability tests, or surveys to validate user needs
  • Additionally take on tasks from the field of business analysis to understand and document requirements precisely
  • Work within SAFe and Scrum frameworks, plan and track tasks, and communicate progress transparently within the team
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet business requirements
  • Share your knowledge with clients and colleagues and support the planning and facilitation of workshops
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and design standards to steadily increase the usability and efficiency of our tools
  • Actively contribute to the strategic, organizational, and content-related development of the subject area

Requirements

  • Degree in UX Design, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Psychology, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial practical experience in UX design, e.g., through internships, working student positions, or personal projects
  • Experience with common design and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent tools
  • Basic understanding of usability principles and user-centered design
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into clear design solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a preference for teamwork, especially with developers and business analysts
  • Structured and open to agile methods (Scrum, SAFe)
  • German language skills of at least C1 level and English language skills of at least B2 level
