About the role

• Engineer managing investment projects for planning and construction of wastewater facilities. Overseeing budgets, schedules, and quality assurance in collaboration with project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project controls for construction projects across all HOAI/AHO service phases in close cooperation with the responsible project management
• Monitor, forecast and update costs and participate in necessary budget adjustments
• Monitor schedules and deadlines through continuous updating of the project timeline
• Ensure project objectives for schedule, cost and quality through ongoing controlling
• Prepare decision-making documentation for plan deviations and conflicts of objectives, with particular regard to resources: personnel, budget and time

Requirements

• Master's or diploma degree in civil engineering with a specialization in project management, construction project management, project management in civil engineering, or industrial engineering with a focus on civil engineering
• Alternatively, a master's, diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering with substantial professional experience in project controls
• Ideally experience in construction execution; knowledge of applying the VOB and the HOAI and the relevant procurement regulations is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, team orientation and a conceptual, structured working style
• Class B driving licence
