About the role

  • Technical Services Engineer providing technical support to German-speaking customers. Collaborating with partners and helping troubleshoot issues in a diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide profound technical support to partners and customers in the German-speaking market
  • Communicate with customers through a web-based ticketing system, telephone support, and chat system
  • Continuously grow knowledge within the Axis product portfolio
  • Provide "first-call-resolution" wherever possible and own customer inquiries through fulfilment
  • Assist with product system navigation and first-time installation guidance
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause of the problem
  • Concisely answer customer service inquiries
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to both software and hardware

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English
  • IT education/courses and experience from the IT-industry
  • Experience from customer support developing excellent communication skills
  • Ability to address technical issues with warmth and empathy
  • Good technical foundation including network concepts and Microsoft Windows OS (bonus points for Linux)
  • Previous experience with technical troubleshooting
  • Bonus points for previous experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud)
