About the role

  • Clinical Research Coordinator I assisting in clinical research studies focusing on Epilepsy and rare pediatric diseases. Collaborating with PIs and ensuring compliance with study protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist investigators in coordinating a range of clinical research studies with a focus on Epilepsy and rare pediatric diseases.
  • Work with multiple Principal Investigators (PIs) simultaneously.
  • Serve as a liaison with the Medical School, sponsoring agencies, the community, and study participants.
  • Manage and record all phases of study progress as required by sponsoring and regulatory agencies.
  • Implement and manage all phases of study/protocol; ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze, investigate and report adverse events; make decisions regarding participant issues.
  • Recruit and enroll study participants; develop informed consent packets and confer with participants.
  • Evaluate and interpret collected clinical data as appropriate; prepare oral or written presentations or reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient).
  • No specific work experience is required for this position.
