About the role

  • Assistant Director managing the planning and support of research systems operations while collaborating with IT on projects. Serving as a liaison between business operations and IT with expert analysis and management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful planning, implementation, and support of research systems operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business operations and IT
  • Provide analysis, planning, organization, communication, and management
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of departmental and university systems
  • Leads the functional workgroup for OVCR systems
  • Cultivates relationships within cross-functional teams and serves as an expert partner
  • Oversees end-to-end business, IT, and vendor resource support and project activities
  • Manages system priorities and builds consensus across business units
  • Creates and documents moderately complex test scenarios to verify application functionality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant Experience (6 Years)
  • Higher Education experience preferred
  • Master's degree - Information Systems preferred
