About the role

  • Engineer working on upstream railway studies at WSP, a global leader in engineering. Contributing to project phases and collaborating internationally on railway infrastructure studies.

Responsibilities

  • You will actively participate in the various phases of engineering studies and technical expertise for the upstream (preliminary) phases of railway projects.
  • Carry out emergence/feasibility studies for development projects and infrastructure renewal projects for railways in France.
  • Produce deliverables (drawings, technical notes, etc.) for the different types of study.
  • Potential collaboration with our partners or WSP resources based internationally.
  • Contribute to the development of upstream railway studies by delivering high-quality services to our clients and participating in the preparation of commercial proposals.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a railway engineering consultancy
  • Recognized expertise in upstream studies in the railway sector (conventional lines, high-speed lines) and potentially in urban modes (tramways or metro)
  • Analytical, synthesis and critical thinking skills
  • Autonomy and rigorous working methods
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to communicate effectively in French and English
