About the role
- Network Engineer executing network architecture projects for DATAGROUP in Oberursel. Involves LAN, WAN, WLAN and Network Security tasks with client installations and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Planung und Durchführung von Netzwerk-Architekturprojekten in den Bereichen LAN, WAN, WLAN und Network Security
- Realisierung von Kabelwegen, Montage von Kabeltrassen und Verlegung von Netzwerkkabeln
- Konfektionierung von Kabeln nach Plan oder Muster
- Analyse und Behebung von Netzwerkstörungen
- Betreuung der Netzwerktechnik im Rechenzentrum
- Durchführung aller “Hand and Eyes Services“ an den Kundenswitches
- Aufbau von technischen Kundeninstallationen und Konfiguration von IT-Komponenten
- Erstellung von Berichten und Pflege der Netzwerkdokumentation
Requirements
- abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT-Bereich oder technische Ausbildung (z.B. Elektroinstallateur/ Elektroniker)
- Berufserfahrung in der Betreuung von Netzwerken sowie Kenntnisse in TCP/IP (L2+L3) und VPN
- Kenntnisse mit Cisco LAN-, WLAN- und WAN-Infrastrukturen
- Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Konzeption und Betrieb im Netzwerkumfeld (LAN/WLAN)
- vertraut mit Cisco-Netzwerkkomponenten wie Router, Switches und VPN-Gateways
- Idealerweise Scripting-Kenntnisse in Ansible oder Python
- Kenntnisse in der Kabeldokumentationslösung SCS der Fa. SightNet
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (Niveau C1)
- Führerschein Klasse B
