About the role
- Lead Software Engineer at Novacura focusing on developing IFS Cloud software solutions and supporting projects. Engage with customers and teams to implement successful software solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in various phases of Novacura Projects to meet Customer needs related to software
- Work proactively and give input and know-how to Customers
- Define the best technical solutions for the overall successful Customer software solution
- Focus on Novacura Flow and IFS Development tools, including custom configurations
- Support more junior colleagues and help customers build software solutions from requirement to quality assured solution put into operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in developing IFS Cloud modifications
- Previously worked as a consultant
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/, PL-SQL) and data structures
- Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, Python)
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks
- Understanding of ERP systems (preferably IFS Applications)
- An added advantage if you have basic functional knowledge in IFS Cloud Manufacturing, Configure to Order, Engineer to Order, or Asset Management solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with good communication skills.
