Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including platform, operations, and security, to understand requirements, contribute to system design, and develop and test software safely and effectively
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and efficient backend systems, including databases, APIs, domain designs, and microservices, with guidance from senior engineers
- Write high-quality, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, optimize for performance and security, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability
- Collaborate with other developers and work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to follow established engineering best practices and improve team delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, C#, Java, or Python, including web development experience using popular web frameworks
- Experience in defining specifications based on requirements, designing microservice architectures and large-scale real-time data processing utilizing asynchronous communication, delivering high-quality coding and testing within an agile development environment
- Strong experience in backend development and database management, especially in deploying cloud-based applications in containerized environments like Kubernetes
- Good communication, a proactive mindset, and strong problem-identification and solving skills
- Business level proficiency in English
