About the role

  • Accounting Manager leading a General Accounting team of six+ across Europe and Middle East. Overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and team management while supporting multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a General Accounting team of six or more finance professionals across multiple locations
  • Oversee the accurate and timely execution of journal entries, ASC 606 revenue recognition, compliance with SOX controls, and financial reporting requirements
  • Supervise the completion of account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • Ensure proper documentation of financial processes and drive the development and implementation of standardized operational procedures
  • Monitor key operational metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency
  • Provide leadership and support for the implementation of SAP HANA and other system solutions
  • Collaborate as a financial advisor to non-finance leaders

Requirements

  • 10 years in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years in General Ledger/General Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years in managerial role
  • Strong in US GAAP
  • SOX compliance
  • SAP; Tagetik or similar tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English, Polish and/or German - preferred
  • Master in Accounting/Finance; ACCA, or equivalent certification - preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and ability to manage cross-border teams
