About the role

Supply Chain Manager leading supply chain project team delivering all aspects of supply chain management. Administering operations and ensuring compliance with project requirements and client contracts.

Responsibilities

leadership and management of a deployed supply chain project team providing all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation, and reporting.
Directing and managing of supply chain activities for a specific project
Administering, supervising, and guiding the performance of assigned supply chain personnel working within the project
Clearly understanding the client’s head contract requirements including, Wood responsibilities and incorporating these into appropriate project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms & conditions.
Understanding and managing threats to the commercial position of Wood and Client and developing risk mitigation plans
Ensuring the team’s regular update of reports/systems with the required information to allow accurate reporting,
Escalating any critical issues and risks to the Delivery Manager.

degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics from a recognised institution
CIPS qualification (or an industry equivalent)
minimum of 12 years of relevant supply chain experience, demonstrating results.
Demonstrated experience in industry best practices in Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements, industry forms of Subcontract, complex tactical procurement, logistics and materials management, client contract requirements and/ or supply chain principles and techniques.
Proficiency in the use of ERP Systems (i.e. Maximo, Oracle, SAP)
commercially astute with a “solutions mindset”, skilled in negotiation and management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
several years of supervisory experience, capable of engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation and energising diverse teams to adopt best practices, driving optimal performance with safety at the heart of everything we do.
