About the role
- Senior Instrument Engineer providing engineering support on various standalone and modification projects within the energy industry. Contract role based in either Aberdeen or Glasgow, hybrid working 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide Instrument engineering support to the Client contract as required**
- Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards**
- Originate and check instrument engineering deliverables as required on Client Contract within budget and schedule**
- Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports.**
- Manage discipline CTR’s, provide input to estimates, proposals, plans and progress.**
- Develop calculation packages as required**
- Perform site / client office visits if required**
- Present and describe engineering solutions and concept competently to both technical and non-technical audience**
- Organise, plan and coordinate own work as well as the resources assigned on a specific project.**
- Support quality & technical assurance activities as require

- MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with some considerable experience or HNC / HND or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
