About the role

  • Project Procurement Manager overseeing supply chain management for supply chain project team at Wood. This hybrid role offers meaningful projects and flexible arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision and guidance of a deployed supply chain project team.
  • Responsible for all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting.
  • Clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and incorporates those into appropriate project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions.
  • Regularly monitors and reports the progress of all project procurement activities.
  • Ensures team regularly update reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management.

Requirements

  • Educated to ISCED Level 6 (Bachelor Degree or Equivalent) CIPS qualified or industry equivalent. Record of skills training appropriate for job specific role.
  • Minimum 10 years’ SC experience demonstrating results and progression to a similar position.
  • Detailed understanding of key subcontracting / procurement concepts and principles.
  • Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements

  • Logistics and Materials Management
  • ERP systems
  • Client contract requirements
  • Supply Chain Principles and techniques
  • Complex Commercial Evaluations, negotiations and terms and condition qualification
