Scheduler/Planning Engineer role at Wood, focusing on project control and scheduling in engineering. You will coordinate detailed engineering schedules and reporting systems.
Responsibilities
Development of detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineers
Development of engineering progress measurement systems and reporting of progress and productivity
Co-ordination of schedule interfaces between licensors' and subcontractors' activities
Provide regular forecasting of project schedule including key milestones
Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team
Production of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team
Requirements
Relevant degree / Chartered Engineer or appropriate experience
Typically requires a minimum 4 years relevant scheduling/planning experience
Uses initiative, experience and a proactive approach to problem solving
Commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
Advanced-user level of current MS Office package, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Experience in steam generator equipment, power plants and clean air technologies.
Proficient in managing client interactions and achieving departmental objectives.
