Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, and negotiate a diverse portfolio of commercial agreements.
- Provide crucial legal support for RFP responses and pre-litigation commercial disputes.
- Serve as the lead legal partner for the entire product lifecycle.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal and business risks.
- Ensure all agreements and business activities adhere to corporate policies and legal standards.
- Enhance the legal team's efficiency by building and maintaining best-in-class processes for commercial contracting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
- 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, either in-house or at a law firm.
- Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex legal issues to non-lawyers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
