Responsibilities
Support underwriting for acquisitions, development, and asset management within self-storage investment platform.
Build, refine, and maintain financial models to underwrite new acquisition and development opportunities.
Support due diligence processes through analysis, modeling, and organization of key materials.
Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and analytical materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Perform market research, competitive analyses, demand studies, and budgeting for new self-storage projects.
Interface with capital partners regarding analytical inputs and reporting (nonclient-facing, limited travel).
Contribute to investor reporting, buy/hold analyses, financing coordination, and overall project execution.
Develop a deep understanding of properties, markets, and deal structures to enhance decision-making quality.
Coordinate with third party vendors on acquisition DD reports
Maintain workflows such as post-closing checklists and underwriting checklists.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in real estate underwriting, investment analysis, banking, private equity, or a similar analytical role.
Strong foundation in cash flow analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
High proficiency in Excel and enthusiasm for leveraging artificial intelligence to improve workflows.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to distill complex data into clear insights.
Comfortable working independently in flexible environments (office, home, etc.).
