About the role

Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) plays a critical role in ensuring that production and utility systems are operated safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- This position is responsible for developing and implementing asset criticality and reliability strategies, optimizing maintenance plans, and leading root cause analyses to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment availability.
- The Maintenance Engineer analyzes equipment performance data, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and works closely with Operations, Safety, Quality, and Engineering to ensure compliant, high-performing, and reliable production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, or Engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries)
- Experience implementing equipment reliability programs (RCM, TPM, PdM)
- Strong proficiency in SAP
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods (e.g., Minitab)
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GMP, ISO, and safety requirements
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Strong project management and communication skills
