About the role

• Project Engineer providing leadership for diverse continuous improvement projects impacting BGS engineering. Working with a geographically diverse team and using project management methodologies for success throughout.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership of multiple and simultaneous diverse continuous improvement projects
• Develop project structure, organization and operating rhythm that ensures successful accomplishment of priorities, goals and objectives
• Use the Boeing Problem Solving Model methodology or Route Cause Corrective Action methodologies and Project Management tools to lead a geographically diverse integrated team
• Work with customers and management to obtain project and milestone approval
• Respond to changes to SOW, assess the impact and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
• Lead project execution to complete the work statement
• Identify performance metrics
• Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program
• Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
• Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
• Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
• 1+ years using Route Cause Corrective Action Methodologies
• Able to travel 10% of the time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in a multi-skill operations environment
