Project Engineer providing leadership for diverse continuous improvement projects impacting BGS engineering. Working with a geographically diverse team and using project management methodologies for success throughout.
Responsibilities
Provide project leadership of multiple and simultaneous diverse continuous improvement projects
Develop project structure, organization and operating rhythm that ensures successful accomplishment of priorities, goals and objectives
Use the Boeing Problem Solving Model methodology or Route Cause Corrective Action methodologies and Project Management tools to lead a geographically diverse integrated team
Work with customers and management to obtain project and milestone approval
Respond to changes to SOW, assess the impact and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
Lead project execution to complete the work statement
Identify performance metrics
Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program
Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
1+ years using Route Cause Corrective Action Methodologies
Able to travel 10% of the time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in a multi-skill operations environment
