About the role

  • Licenced Aircraft Engineer Instructor providing training and technical support to future licensed aircraft engineers for Babcock's Light Aircraft Flying Task (LAFT2) contract.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering training packages that meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining and updating training materials to ensure compliance.
  • Providing technical support on airframe and propulsion systems.
  • Ensuring adherence to Part 145, Part 66, and Part 147 regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in training delivery and curriculum development (Part 66 & Part 147)
  • Maintaining training materials and ensuring compliance
  • Strong technical skills in aeronautical engineering (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • In-depth understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations
  • Certification of Education in a teaching/training qualification
  • Experience in a Part 147 training environment
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering.
