About the role

  • Field Service Technician providing field services at nuclear power plants and service centers. Ensures safety and quality in handling critical refuel equipment for nuclear energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field services at nuclear power plant sites either operating or under construction.
  • Use high technology service equipment in a manner reflecting Westinghouse’s commitment to the highest level of safety and quality.
  • Train to install, set-up, maintain, inspect, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot fuel handling/outage critical refuel equipment at customer sites worldwide.
  • Support equipment maintenance at the Waltz Mill service center between outage assignments.
  • Participate in training programs to acquire and maintain certifications and keep current with technology and procedures.
  • Practice a “Safety First” attitude as a necessary part of all activities.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or the recognized equivalent is required.
  • 2 years, post high school degree/certificate or equivalent in experience.
  • 2-3 years in industrial field with demonstrated mechanical abilities.
