About the role

  • Math Editor developing digital and classic educational media for primary schools. Leading editorial teams and collaborating with various stakeholders in the educational publishing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit print and digital teaching materials for modern primary school mathematics instruction
  • Provide editorial oversight and take responsibility for mathematics teaching materials/textbooks
  • Lead editorial and author teams
  • Work closely with typesetting/production houses, graphic designers, illustrators, and other internal and external service providers

Requirements

  • Completed degree in mathematics, ideally with teacher training for primary/elementary schools
  • Ideally some practical classroom teaching experience
  • Extensive subject-matter knowledge and didactic-methodological competence
  • Editorial experience in an educational publishing house is desirable
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Creativity, determination, and organizational skills
  • Enjoy working in a team
