About the role
- Product Owner facilitating agile processes and managing product backlog at WePayments. Ensuring value delivery and aligning teams for optimal product strategies.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, review, and retrospective)
- Manage, prioritize, and maintain the health of the product backlog
- Structure epics and write clear, concise user stories
- Act as the primary bridge for alignment and ongoing negotiation between business and technology teams
- Help translate complex business needs into efficient functional requirements
- Oversee the end-to-end development of deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner managing digital products
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Strong focus on value delivery and smart prioritization
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and stakeholder management
- Analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Strong self-management and alignment with our value of "Act the right way, always"
- Practical knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (preferred)
- Previous experience in financial services, payments, or cross-border operations (preferred)
- Experience defining and tracking product metrics and OKRs (preferred)
